With the goal of improving the comprehensive utilization rate of livestock and poultry manure, eliminating non-point source pollution, and improving land fertility, taking the combination of farming and breeding, farming and animal husbandry cycle, nearby consumption, and comprehensive utilization as the main line, adhering to the policy of government support, enterprise main body, market-oriented operation, adhering to the mechanism of source reduction, process control, and terminal utilization, and accelerating the construction of sustainable development mode of farming and animal husbandry combined with agricultural and animal husbandry cycle.

On April 6, 2023, Meng Haibo, Director of the Planning and Design Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, Wu Desheng, chief expert of the China Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Science Group Co., LTD., Liu Guizhen, former director of the National Animal Husbandry Station, and other members of the agricultural advisory expert group and Ma Chunpu, member of the Party Group of Zhalantun City, visited our company to carry out research on the entire county of Zhalantun animal manure resource utilization project. The project is led by Zhalantun Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Science and Technology, and Qingdao Zhonghai Environmental Engineering Co., LTD., as the technical support party, conducts field research on livestock farms in the city, determines the resource utilization system of livestock and poultry waste in Zhalantun City, and determines the final implementation plan. Large farms realize the resource utilization of their own feces, large-scale farms build corresponding supporting feces facilities, and small and medium-sized farms realize the temporary storage of feces. In the intensive area of breeding, a regional treatment center for the utilization of fecal waste resources will be set up to radiate the harmless and resource-based fecal waste of surrounding farms. After full investigation, publicity policies, and field design in accordance with the principle of "one game and one policy", 104 implementation subjects were finally determined to undertake projects, and 7 regional processing centers were built in Gaotaizi Street, Dahewan Town and other townships.


Processing mode


According to various factors such as the scale, structure and regional location of the livestock farms in Zhalantun City, after full consideration and multi-party demonstration, the "decentralized + centralized mode" is finally adopted, that is, large-scale livestock farms are responsible for the utilization of manure resources in our factory, large-scale livestock farms and livestock farms in non-intensive areas complete the supporting facilities of feces, and build regional treatment centers in intensive areas. It is responsible for the resource utilization of the waste from the surrounding farms.


According to the type and quantity of livestock and poultry in the intensive area, the regional treatment center adopts the aerobic compost fermentation process of China Sea Environment nanomolecular membrane. This process is a process technology to transform organic waste resources through high-temperature aerobic fermentation, and can be applied to various organic wastes such as livestock and poultry manure, municipal sludge, straw and tail vegetables, and kitchen waste. It can convert organic waste into organic fertilizer, nutrient soil, and cow mattress material for recycling and reuse, which can achieve efficient, low-cost and environmentally friendly production. Aerobic composting is adopted in large beef cattle breeding base. The manure in dairy farm is fermented to produce cow mattress material and realize the recycling of manure. Construction of "three prevention" manure storage sheds and sewage ponds in small and medium-sized farms; Purchase transport vehicles and manure spreader to solve the problem of the "last kilometer" of waste recycling.


Through the implementation of the project, the manure pollution of the farm has reduced the impact on the surrounding environment, and the improvement of the human settlement environment in Zhalantun City has played an important role in promoting it. The production capacity of organic fertilizer produced by livestock and poultry manure in Zhalantun City has increased from less than 5,000 tons to 150,000 tons, which has played an important role in improving the fertility of black land and implementing high-standard farmland, helping green organic planting in Zhalantun City. The project achieved a large-scale farm facilities allocation rate of 100%, the city's comprehensive utilization rate of manure reached more than 90%. The project explores a way of resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure in high-latitude areas, and Zhonghai Environment continuously improves the model through operation, thus ultimately creating the "Zhalantun model" of resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure. After the operation of the project, it solves the worries of livestock and poultry farmers, contributes to the expansion of breeding scale and brings better economic benefits. The utilization of manure resources can not only effectively reduce and control the pollution of livestock and poultry manure to the environment, but also produce organic fertilizer, which provides conditions for the improvement of soil fertility and the protection of black land. Organic fertilizer can increase the organic matter content of 50,000 mu of land by 1%.


After the project is put into operation, it will help build a standardized and large-scale ecological circular agricultural industry chain, create a large number of jobs and increase farmers' income. The application amount of organic fertilizer will be increased through the promotion of breeding cycle and other models. Increasing the application of organic fertilizer can improve the appearance, palatability, sugar content, nutrient content and other quality of agricultural products, and improve the value. Promote the certification of "three products and one standard" such as green and organic agricultural products, promote the transformation and upgrading of agricultural products to high quality and high-end direction, and achieve quality and efficiency improvement.


Through this research, the agricultural advisory expert group and the leaders of Zhalantun City have shown eager expectations and full confidence in the whole county to promote the project of the utilization of livestock and poultry waste resources. As a local key project, the project has realized the harmless utilization of feces from surrounding farms, improved the living environment, and played a good role in improving rural revitalization and beautiful rural construction.
